Established in 1997, elc‘s Sungai Buloh campus sits on 6 acres of purpose-built space designed to inspire young learners. Conveniently accessible via MRT and KTM, this campus offers affordable, high-quality British education for families across Klang Valley.

At elc, our Lower Primary programme covers the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1, offering children aged 3 to 7 a strong and supportive start. This stage focuses not just on early academics, but also on shaping social-emotional readiness and personal confidence.

Structured Academic Learning with Room for Growth & Creativity

elc International School’s Upper Primary programme provides students aged 7 to 11 with a structured yet engaging transition from early learning to more advanced academic expectations. At this stage, students begin to develop deeper subject knowledge while also building independence, responsibility, and self-confidence.

This intermediate phase balances core academic mastery with non-academic development, ensuring that students are not only intellectually prepared, but also socially and emotionally equipped to thrive.

As part of our commitment to global readiness, students are required to study two foreign languages, progressing through beginner, intermediate, and advanced group levels.

Malaysian students will take Bahasa Malaysia as a second language (per MOE requirement)
Additional options include Mandarin, Spanish, or French

Upper Primary students graduate from this stage with a strong academic foundation, the ability to think critically, and the confidence to express themselves in multiple languages—fully prepared for the transition into secondary education.
