Virtual Run/Walk Challenge

Parents and Students join our #stayfit and #staysafe FREE Virtual Run/Walk Challenge!

The P.E. Department are inviting you to be part of a family virtual run/walk. This also serves as a family bonding experience whilst undertaking the challenge.

A runner in Wuhan, China completed an ultramarathon distance inside his room. A French runner completed a full marathon on his balcony. Another runner in China accumulated 318 miles while running inside his living room, during his quarantine. How about you? How many kilometres/miles can you complete during the #quaRUNtine?

The challenge will start on 9 June and “run” to 30 July 2020.

It is open to everybody in the family (Father, Mother, Sister, Brother, Grandmother, Grandfather, Auntie, Uncle).

For every participant, the run/steps can be accumulated multiple times. Step counter phone apps or smartwatches are needed to record your activity.

The Top 5 highest number of steps/distance in each category will receive an E-Certificate.

• 1km = 1,500 steps
• 10km = 15,000 steps
• 21km = 31,500 steps
• 42km = 63,000 steps

To register please fill in the GOOGLE FORM on or before 8 June.

Note: You will NEED to send a screenshot of your steps counter. You can send your steps evidence daily, weekly or monthly to g.jayma@elc.edu.my

ALL STEP ENTRIES MUST BE SENT IN BY 30TH JULY (8:00 PM).
